In this role, you will be responsible for directing the operation of
a technical service branch office
that provides calibration, maintenance and repair of
complex electronic, mechanical and process control assemblies and
instrumentation, under the
guidance of the District Manager.
Position Summary:
· Responsible and accountable for achieving business (revenue, profitability, operational) objectives in the lab in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with limited direct supervision from the District Manager.
· Full P&L responsibility for the lab, including planning, budgeting, staffing and directing.
· Responsible for attracting, retaining, leading and developing branch personnel.
· Responsible for maintaining and improving employee relations to ensure a progressive workforce, striving for continuous improvement.
· Responsible for local adherence to quality standards, customer service commitments, new business pursuits, market development efforts and sales.
· Provide account management and direct customer interface in support of quality, customer service, account retention and sales/marketing objectives.
· Participates with Sales Team on sales and marketing planning activities for new key business opportunities to develop and support national strategies in order to achieve STM’s annual business objectives.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
· U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
· Minimum of 5 years experience in the metrology field with a demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following: electronic equipment calibration or physical/dimensional calibration.
· Minimum of 3 years experience (5++ years preferred) in a supervisory/management role in either metrology or related technical industry.
· AS degree preferred
· Solid experience in attracting, recruiting and retaining top performers.
· Strong communication, human relations, and team building skills along with accomplishments in leading, motivating, training, and developing subordinates.
· Demonstrated achievements in meeting revenue objectives by developing and managing new business opportunities in a high-technology service industry a plus.
· Demonstrated success with planning, organizing, and time management.
· Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook)
· Must be able to travel
